Third time lucky and we finally got a match. On a cold windy day Garston and Bury finally got their rescheduled County Cup match underway. The game started with end to end football, evenly balanced. Garston scored first due to Raaya following up a split ball by the Bury goal-keeper and at the restart Bury were straight back on the attack culminating with them scoring. Not to be outdone Garston did the following to go in at the break two-one up with a lovely goal by Katie.
Second half started with both teams playing good football. Garston get a corner which was cleared by Bury to Jazz's feet who blasted the ball from outside of the box back into the Bury net. The match ebbed and flowed with Lauren making some fantastic saves throughout the match. Another two corners were had by Garston which were both scored fantastically; one from Libby and one from Nicole Mac. Although the score line is flattering both teams played excellent football and all the girls were magnificent.
We are now through to the semi-final.
